Our journey started with a simple swipe on Tinder—an ordinary moment that turned into an extraordinary love story.
Our first date was nothing short of magical. What started as a casual meet-up quickly turned into an epic 14-hour adventure, featuring a spontaneous Volkswagen Bus trip, a telescope for gazing at the full moon, and not one, but two secret make-out spots that only Ross knew about. Along the way, we discovered we had many of the same songs on each other's playlists, making the night feel even more serendipitous. It was, without a doubt, the best first date either of us had ever experienced.
While our initial spark was undeniable, our bond grew even stronger when we took on a unique project: refurbishing a sailboat. Side by side, we sanded, stained, and brought new life to our vessel—falling deeply in love in the process.
It was only fitting that the next chapter of our love story would unfold on a sailboat where it all began. One unforgettable night in our favorite anchorage in Emerald Bay, surrounded by a sky full of stars (and even a comet), we shared a heartfelt moment, professing our love for each other for the first time........ only to return to that very spot 5 years later so that Ross could surprise Nilu with a wedding proposal.
